Submissions and Correspondence
We prefer to receive submissions by email. Our email address is:
Articles and notes may be submitted in PDF format to this email address.
Please note that PDF is the only electronic format we accept. Please put
"Submission to the Monthly" in the subject line, and include the title of
the paper and the name and postal
address of the corresponding author in your email. If submitting more than
one paper, send each in a separate email. Manuscript pages should be
numbered, and left and right margins should be at least one inch wide.

Formatting your Paper
For information about formatting your paper for the Monthly, see

If you are using LaTeX, you can use the
LaTeX source file for the sample article or
the LaTeX source file for the sample note
as a template for your paper. When formatting your references, please
follow these guidelines for formatting
references. If you are using BibTeX, our BibTeX style file
monthly.bst will format most references correctly
for the Monthly.
